On 28 April 2022, delegations from SOCAR and Uniper met in Baku as part of the 7th meeting of the Coordination Committee between the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and the German energy company Uniper. First Vice President and Acting President of SOCAR Rovshan Najaf discussed with Uniper CEO Klaus-Dieter Maubach the successful results of the long-standing partnership between the two companies. Uniper and SOCAR have been linked by several joint projects in Azerbaijan for many years. As a cooperation partner, SOCAR plays an important role in Uniper’s strategy of increased diversification of supply sources for a secure gas supply.
